Pro City Kenner, 7.9, Pt. 2

July 13, 2016 - We present Pt. 2 of our Nike Pro City Kenner League report from last Saturday. Click here for Pt. 1.

As usual, Premium Court has expanded blurbs on Georgetown student athletes.

Kaleb Johnson – A Wash, 6’7”, 210 pound sophomore forward, Georgetown – Johnson logged 16 points, demonstrating yet again increased...(Premium Court)

Tre Campbell – A Wash, 6’3”, 180 pound junior guard, Georgetown – In a 19 point performance, a clearly stronger Campbell...(Premium Court)

Brandon Peel – A Wash, 6’7”, 205 pound senior forward, CCSU – A rebounding machine, Peel is stout in the paint, where he finishes and defends. Brings his hard hat every time he plays.

Didn’t demonstrate much shooting desire from mid to long range. Scored 15 points.

Otis Livingston, Jr. – Higher Level, 5’10”, 175 pound sophomore guard, George Mason – Combo guard scored 10 points and competed.

Should focus on dropping off and finding more.

Reggie Cameron – Higher Level, 6’7”, 210 pound senior forward, Georgetown – Had a good game, scoring 16 points…(Premium Court).

Isaac Copeland – Hoop Magic, 6’9”, 210 pound junior forward, Georgetown – On way to 19 points, showed he’s…(Premium Court)

Chris Wright – Hoop Magic, 6’1”, 201 pound point guard, international pro – Got going early, finishing with 26 points. Was controlling the action.

Former G’Town standout needs to burnish that floater, thereby avoiding over penetration. Also must sink open jumpers consistently.

Is a pro.

Josh Hart – On Point, 6’5”, 210 pound senior swingman, Villanova – Took over the game late, finishing with 18 points. Made his patented Hart Plays; drove, defended, rebounded, secured 50-50 balls.

Is working on his jump shot with success, given its improved form.

Tyler Cavanaugh – 6’8”, 230 pound senior forward, GW – Was a force; dominated paint play, cleaned the boards, defended in interior. Logged 19 points.

Can also flex out for long corner shots. Should beast this year.

Julian Wright – 6’9”, 230 pound forward, international pro – Scored just seven points, but this former Kansas star and NBA pro was a force; he defended, rebounded, battled, pushed the rock and competed.
