Informed take on Dickerson

Since graduate guard Trey Dickerson was recruited to Georgetown early this week, many have asked the question, just who is this guy? A 6'1", 175 pound guard who last season started at South Dakota, after stints in Murray State, junior college (Williston State) and the University of Iowa, Dickerson has some in the Hoya Nation hopeful a dynamic guard has been added.

What kind of player is he?

An informed media professional with knowledge of Dickerson shared his thoughts on Trey recently. For this person's entire submission, see Premium Court. Also there is supposition in terms of a possible Dickerson utilization.

Excerpts follow:

"Trey is well traveled to say the least. I think he went to four different high schools/prep schools. Committed to Murray State at one point and was there for a short period of time. Some stuff happened there. Didn't involve him, but he felt uncomfortable and left before the first year started..."

"Trey is a small and quick point guard. Handles it well and is pretty good at running a team. Better in transition than in the halfcourt offense. Decent outside shooter. Can be..."

"Trey's a nice kid. Very engaging off the court..."
