Hoya Madness is tonight!

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men’s and women’s basketball programs will hold their annual Hoya Madness celebration, the official on-campus kickoff party of the 2017-18 basketball season, on Friday, October 13 at 10 p.m. in McDonough Arena.

This is a free event open to all Georgetown students and athletics donors. Doors are scheduled to open at 9:30 p.m., with the show kicking off at 10 p.m.

The show will feature performances by some of Georgetown’s best student dance groups, and the Georgetown Cheerleaders and Pep Band. The teams will be introduced to the fans and both head coaches will address the crowd.

Radio personality Big Tigger will host Hoya Madness and hip hop artist Meek Mill will perform.

Fans unable to attend the event can follow Georgetown Athletics’ Facebook Live stream with a pre-event show beginning at 8:45 p.m. Hosts Jeremy Huber and Rich Chvotkin will have interviews, clips and preview the upcoming seasons.

Season tickets are available for the 2017-18 Georgetown men's basketball season. Season tickets include all home games at Capital One Arena and provide fans with access to the best seats at a discount. Men’s basketball mini-plans, group tickets and single game tickets will go on sale in October.
