Billingsley Bounces

Jalin Billingsley

A budding fan favorite during his just completed freshman year, many in the Hoya Nation looked forward to Jalin Billingsley's growth and seeing the 6'7" forward out of Cleveland perform. He has a following.

Well, those folks are going to be disappointed and/or will have to track Billingsley elsewhere, as Georgetown announced this week he's leaving.

During his frosh campaign, Billingsley averaged 2.1 points, 1.8 rebounds each game for head coach Pat Ewing. This work was done over 30 games played, none started, with individual game high marks of 10 points, seven rebounds and 27 minutes.

Before The Hilltop, Billingsley was a standout at Lutheran East (OH), garnering a state title in 2021, providing 13 points and 3.4 blocks per contest as a senior. Jalin's statistical output was greater as a junior, when he poured in 17.4 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and a trio of blocks for Lutheran East, who made the Division II regional semifinals and fifth consecutive straight district title, the second with Jalin competing.

Currently, it is unknown where Jalin will land. Discuss that - it will be updated when discovered - on Premium Court. Also there is insight into Billingsley's experience at Georgetown.
