Bass Brings it to DC
As FIRST noted on our Premium Court message board Tuesday, Georgetown was poised to receive good news. Well, they have, as Class of 2022 forward D'ante Bass orally announced his attention to eventually enroll on The Hilltop.
Standing 6'7" and 200 pounds, Bass, from Savannah, Georgia chose the Hoyas over Virginia Tech, Georgia, Georgia Tech and South Carolina. He's been affixed a three star designation by Rivals.com.
What kind of player is Bass?
"Elite athlete" is how Dan McDonald, Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst started when asked to describe Bates on the court. "He's always getting better. Much improved shooter. Big time finisher at the rim. Has the potential to be a lock-down defender. Tough on the boards.
"Just needs to be more consistent, keep working to tighten up his handle".
Bass informed HC Pat Ewing and Geogetown's staff of his attendance intention earlier this week on official visit.
