As a 6'4" freshman wing from Gaffney, SC, Peak averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game last season. A starter, Peak routinely faced opponnent's best scoring guard or forward, and in doing so drew raves from head coach [db thompson iii]John Thompson III[/db] who consistently praising Peak for "staying in front of his man".
Peak shot 39.4% from the field, yet only 24.6% of his three point shot attempts were made; those numbers point to his penchant for not trusting his jumper, deciding to drive instead, a trend foes knew as well.
