Some Peters Talk

October 9, 2012 - The Hoya Nation has been abuzz speculating on the recruitment of Roddy Peters, a 6'3" guard the Hoyas have scouted since Suitland High School's 2011 - 2012 season, and started recruiting in earnest this summer. As Peters is a combo guard that has greatly increased his ability to run a team, hails from the DC area, can shoot, drive and dish and has a high development ceiling, the fact Hoya fans covet him is a no-brainer.
Well, just where does Peter's recruitment stand? Peter's recently indicated the Hoyas, UCLA, Kansas, Rutgers, Xavier and at times Maryland are in his mix.

Jacey Zembal, at WolfPacker.com was gracious enough to provide video of Peters at the NBAPA Top 100 Camp; it was the site of his national ascendance; he started out slow, but turned it around, finishing hot (Click here for HoyaReport.com coverage). Thanks go out to Zembal.
The video is below:
District Heights (Md.) Suitland senior point guard Roddy Peters had 16 points for his Mavericks camp team against the Thunder in the title game of the NBPA Camp on June 16, 2012, in Charlottesville, Va. The scouting video shows Peter's (No. 31) box score statistics except fouls.
