Smith tidbits

December 7, 2012 - Much has been made about the announced transfer of Josh Smith, the 6'10", 300 pound center formerly of UCLA. It makes sense, given his prodigious skill set - size, good hands, good feet, solid shooting touch - and the need for such a player by college teams.
Georgetown is one such school that could use a guy like that, even if it's for just a year and a half; Smith, a sophomore, will likely be available in January of 2014 after sitting out the requisite, NCAA mandated equivalent to a calendar year.
