June 21, 2o12 - With the 2012 National Basketball Association Draft upcoming in a week, possible selections are traveling to league franchises for workouts. These sessions provide team leaders an opportunity to drill possible future players personally, thereby creating possible insight unavailable via game tape or word of mouth.
Today, the Washington Wizards are having just such a workout: Between 11:15a and 1:00p, four draft eligible players will suit up and take the Verizon Center's practice gym.
One of the participants has intimate Verizon Center knowledge, having suited up for Georgetown there (the school's home gym), over the last four years - none other than Henry Sims is slated to workout.
Joining Sims are a trio of talented draft possibilities in Temi Adebayo, Nihad Djedovic, and Tyshawn Taylor.
Adebayo is a 7'0" center from Philadelphia University who attended Archbishop Carroll High School (DC). Djedovic, a forward, is a 6'7" Yugoslavian, while Tyshawn Taylor, a backcourt guy, stands 6'5".
While HoyaReport.com will not be there, a report will be forthcoming.
