Robinson will be a Tiger

October 8, 2013 - While his final destination was unclear, it's been trending towards Elbert Robinson not becoming a Hoya. Confirmation has been received, as TigerBait.com's William Weathers reported the 7"0", 300 pound plus center is headed to LSU.
The tea leaves read no Georgetown, when Robinson, a Dallas native, indicated he would announce his choice today, in advance of a tentatively scheduled visit to D.C. for Midnight Madness (Oct. 25th).

Robinson is ranked 51st in the Class of 2014 by Rivals.com.
Now that the proverbial dust has settled, see our Premium Court message board to not only discuss Robinson's decision, but learn of a comment Elbert's AAU coach Lawrence Johns made regarding his recruitment to G'Town.
In hindsight, the statement was prophetic, though Robinson's recruitment was full of twists and turns for the Blue and Grey: He visited in March, spoke favorably of the program at this year's NBAPA Top 100 Camp, apparently was impacted by his initial Hoya recruiter Kenya Hunter departing for Nebraska (head coach John Thompson III jumped into the breach), and saw the young guy postpone a scheduled list reduction.
