May 20, 2014 - As broken by HoyaReport.com last week, 6'11", 225 pound Class of 2015 standout forward/center Ivan Rabb is scheduled to be on Georgetown's campus today. For the record Rabb is ranked second by Rivals.com in his class.
Per Rabb's Twitter account, the unofficial visit could be a most-of-the-day affair, ending around 5p This weekend at the Nike EYBL Hampton travel team tournament, Rabb said of the tour "Honestly, I'm not sure" when asked for its itinerary, but "I'm just looking forward to getting on campus. What are his pre-visit impressions of the Hilltop?
"It's known as a big man school. they send bigs, not only to the NBA but to the Hall of Fame" he answered. "They told me it's always people coming back to go workout in the summer time".
Additionally, the Nation's Capital is attractive.
"They love Washington, DC" continued Rabb, a town he identified as "a really good city" as "I've been there before. I like it".
Rabb admitted "I'm just looking really had at them". The Blue and Grey's staff is doing the same, and no doubt likes what they see: Rabb is a skilled, long, athletic big man, one that will score around the rim, block shots, rebound, get out on the break and at times pat the rock in open floor situations. Interestingly enough, yesterday Rabb invited another Hoya prospect to join his Hilltop jaunt. To find out who, again visit Premium Court, the site for follow ups on his visit and recruitment.
