First up are DCX and Team Symonds, which both boast Hoyas - the former has Markel Starks and Henry Sims, while Team Symonds suits up Moses Ayegba. It will be interesting to see Sims and Ayegba, both frontcourt guys, bang in paint; from a developmental standpoint Moses must do so more judiciously, while Sims more liberally, in an effort to bolster the Hoyas' chances this year. Starks has done a good job of mixing offense with getting teammates buckets all league long.
In the second game set to tip at 8:50p, Team Takeover plays Boss Auto. The latter doesn't have any Hoya connection, but the former does, sporting present Georgetown guard Jason Clark and former backcourt standout Chris Wright. It's been clear Clark has worked on his shooting off the dribble this summer. He's also consistently logged post twenty point scoring numbers in Pro City play. Wright has been Wright: A player capable of putting up points and when desired, finding teammates.
