Pickett officially notifies

As we've discussed for months on HoyaReport.com, multiple sources had indicated Georgetown senior forward Jamorko Pickett would not take advantage of COVID-19- based roster allowances by returning to the Hoyas. These individuals uniformly communicated Pickett would not enter the transfer portal and attend another school - again a rules change in reaction to what the global pandemic wrought - instead choosing post-college endeavors.

Those sources were in the end, accurate.

A 12.2 point, 7.2 rebound over four year performer, Pickett was second in rebounding for the Blue and Grey during the 2020-21 season. Over his career Pickett has improved his rebounding output yearly while scoring more points in three of four seasons.

Head coach Pat Ewing made it a point to acknowledge Pickett's improvement, lauding him for a commitment to defense and rebounding. Blue and Grey fans are widely showing love for Pickett, who while a Hoya not only got better, but did many of the things others were not focused on.
