May 5, 2017 - Per multiple Twitter posts, Class of 2017 center Chris Sodom has re-opened his recruitment after the firing of former New Mexico head coach Craig Neal. Sodom requested his release, and received it.

Since then, Georgetown, Pitt, Oklahoma State and Mizzou have made Sodom's final list.

Per reports, Sodom is expected to visit Georgetown this weekend.
