NCHC has Mid-Atlantic flair

January 22, 2014 - The DMV has its fair share of high school showcase events, providing observers an opportunity to see top local performers and those from other locales. It's a growing trend that hoops fans love.

This weekend brings another event to the area, the Nations Capital Hoop Classic. Spearheaded by Terrence Winters, the NCHC, held this Saturday at Coolidge High School (DC), has not only top local teams, but also offers several from Delaware, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. It's a true Mid-Atlantic treat!
Costing $10 for adults, free for kids under four, January 25th the following teams will line up:
Washington Lee (VA) vs Westlake (MD) - 1p
High Point Christian (NC) vs Suitland (MD) - 230p
Chester (PA) vs Capitol Christian (MD) - 4p
Norfolk Collegiate (VA) vs St. Andrews (DE) - 530p
Cape Henry Collegiate (VA) vs Clinton Christian (MD) - 7p
