Adding it's eighth newcomer for the upcoming season, Georgetown has lured Bryson Mozone to The Hilltop. It was announced on his Instagram page.

A 6'6", 205 pound fourth year senior swingman at USC-Upstate, Mozone managed a team best 15.8 points, 57 rebounds and 33.2 rebounds each time out last season. His shooting numbers were 44.6% from the field, 38.6% on long balls, 85.6% on charity stripe attempts.

As a result of that work, Mozone, hailing North Augusta, South Carolina, made the Big South's all league second team.

Mozone joins Brandon Murray, Primo Spears, Jay Heath, Akok Akok and Bradley Ezewiro as newcomer transfers to head coach Pat Ewing's 2022-23 crew, along with frosh Denver Anglin and D'Ante Bass. Add Wayne Bristol - who transferred in from Howard midseason but didn't suit up - Dante Harris, Ryan Mutombo and Jordan Riley to Ewing's assumed present available player list next season.

Leading scorer and rebounder Aminu Mohammed COULD also be on the roster if he doesn't stay committed to attempted National Basketball Association participation next season.
