Recruiting at Georgetown is in full swing, with coaches fanning out nationally to see players, while high school guys are also traveling to N.W., Washington, DC to check out the school. It makes sense, as the Hoyas and various high school programs will soon be in-season, prohibiting any real visits, particularly the unofficial ones.

Today, Class of 2017 lead guard Jamir Moultrie did the latter - travel from District Heights, MD to G'Town and engage in a non-sponsored visit . For a brief rundown of what occurred, per an AAU source, visit Premium Court. Also there is whether or not the Hoyas have actually tendered a scholarship offer and when the standout guard will likely make a decision.

Moultrie, standing 6' and weighing around 175 pounds is a tireless worker who has improved his jumpshooting skill. A senior at Bishop McNamara (MD), Moultrie leads the program into another Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) season, one in which the Mustangs have reason to be bullish.

This summer he played for Baltimore Elite in Adidas Gauntlet action. Coached there by Zach Suber, Moultrie turned many heads, leading to 15 offers and 12 schools showing interest.

The Hoyas have visited Jamir and several of his McNamara teammates several times in September.
