Johnson decides tonight

September 25, 2017 - It looks colleges' pursuit of Xavier Johnson ends tonight, as the 6'1", 170 pound, Class of 2018 lead guard indicated he is "Releasing a vid around 9:30" (PM).

Georgetown, Nebraska and Georgia Tech are his final three destinations.

A fast, athletic guard who defends and finishes, Johnson has worked his way to become a better shooter, while also concentrating on vocal leadership.

This spring/summer with Team Takeover in Nike EYBL action, Johnson displayed that work, helping lead that outfit to an Eight tournament championship.

Johnson's high school, Bishop O'Connell (VA), relies heavily on him, who must direct the squad offensively, score at all levels, defend opponent's best perimeter player and act as a coach on the floor.

Rivals.com has assigned him a three star designation.
