November 9, 2012 - Due to condensation on the USS Bataan's hardwood floor, affixed on it's flight deck, Georgetown and Florida both decided it was best for all involved not to play the second half. At intermission, Florida led 27-23.

Head Hoya John Thompson III on choosing not to play: "It's so slippery. It's an ice skating rink right now. We we had our shoot around last night, and it kept getting worse and worse as the shoot around went on. And you come back out after halftime, and realize it's the same thing".
The game is officially suspended. Thompson, when asked if the contest, both team's first, wold count in the standings, shared "To be honest, I'm not sure. I've never been part of a game that was suspended...".
Apparently NCAA rules suggest a continuance, based upon each team's conference rules.
