Hoya targets in DMV Super Showcase

Georgetown is recruiting a pair of DMV Super Showcase participants, in Dion Wiley and Tariq Owens. The former is a junior swingman, while Owens, also in the Class of 2014, is a power forward.

Wiley has been reported on extensively here, while expect coverage of Owens in the near future.
This past year the District-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area has been blessed with a plethora of high school basketball events; showcases or tournaments that hosted not only local but national teams, providing fans an opportunity to see the nation's best. The DMV Super Showcase continues the trend in 2013.
Set for January 12th, the DMV Super Showcase will provide teams who don't normally cross paths a chance to battle, all under one roof. Specifics follow:
Date: Saturday, 1.12.13
Schedule: 1:45p - Carroll (DC) vs Pallotti (MD)
3:30p - Riverside Christian Academy (NC) vs Friendship Collegiate (DC)
5:15p - Mt. Zion (MD) vs T. Roosevelt (DC)
7:00p - Coolidge (DC) vs Potomac (MD)

Cost: $10, kids under 5 are admitted free
Many talented players will participate, including: David Kadiri, Dion Wiley, Johnny Shuler, Omar Roberts, Aquille Carr, Keith Shivers, Randall Broddie, Mike Warren, Tariq Owens, and others. These young guys are being recruited by some of the nation's top schools.
