WASHINGTON – Georgetown University today announced the full 2017-18 men’s basketball schedule that will start the first year of Hoyas basketball under the helm of Head Coach Patrick Ewing.

Ewing’s first game on the sidelines will take place on Saturday, November 12th at home vs. Jacksonville.

Georgetown will play 11 non-conference games with the lone road game slated at Richmond on Saturday, November 25th. The Hoyas will host long-time rival Syracuse on Saturday, December 16th with the game televised on CBS Sports.

The BIG EAST conference play will open at home on December 27th against Butler University at Capital One Arena. The Hoyas first BIG EAST road game is set for Saturday, December 30th at Marquette.

Additional BIG EAST conference home matchups include Creighton (Jan. 6), Villanova (Jan. 17), St. John’s (Jan. 20), DePaul (Jan. 24) Seton Hall (Feb. 10), Xavier (Feb. 21), Providence (Feb. 24), and Marquette (Feb. 26).

“I am excited to be back at my alma mater as the head coach, said Ewing, who was hired as Georgetown’s head coach on April 3. “BIG EAST play has always been fierce and competitive and we are looking forward to the challenge.”

Season tickets are available for the 2017-18 Georgetown men's basketball season. Season tickets include all home games at Capital One Arena and provide fans with access to the best seats at a discount.
