After a summer and fall in which junior guard Jay Heath transferred from Arizona State, the he, Georgetown and the Hoya Nation have been on pins and needles awaiting news of his availability. Given G'Town is his second transfer - Heath, a DC native initially enrolled at Boston College in 2019, before leaving for ASU two years later.

A double figure scorer at both places, Heath is offensively aggressive and competes at a high level on both sides of the floor. Being capable of off-schedule scoring, Heath stresses defenses. Additionally he's a competent dribbler, so expect his ball handling to be welcome and impactful.
