Govan decides to go Blue and Grey

May 13, 2014 - This spring has been fruitful for John Thompson III and his Georgetown University staff, as Class of 2015 commitments have been rolling in. The second for Thompson et al is center Jessie Govan, 6'10", 263 pound pivot from New York.
According to media reports, Govan chose the Hoyas today over a host of other schools, including Seton Hall, Syracuse, Virginia, NC State, Pitt, Cincy, UConn and other offering institutions. Additional colleges such as Duke, Kentucky and OSU were monitoring Govan.

Govan joins fellow Class of 2015 frontcourt performer Noah Dickerson in orally committing to Georgetown within the last week. The latter chose to wear Blue and Grey on Friday. They join forward Marcus Derrickson, who committed last fall, in the Hoyas' '15 haul.
