Early Return: White to...

Per two trusted sources, Paul White, the junior forward who recently decided to transfer from Georgetown has chosen his future college home; it's on the West Coast.

As speculated on our Premium Court message board having an inside track for his services, two sources have indicated the 6'8" Chicagoland product will transfer to Oregon. White must sit out the 2016-17 season, becoming available during the '17-'18 campaign.

Having spent two years at G'Town, it's known White will have at least two years of playing eligibility going forward.

Based on his '15-16 season, one wrought with injury, he could recover another season, though special NCAA dispensation must be secure to make it happen. A good AAU source indicated garnering that sixth year was a big recruiting point by teams pursuing White upon his announced transfer.
