Carr gets offer

April 13, 2015 - Georgetown sent three coaches to Nike EYBL's first leg in Hampton Virginia, with head coach John Thompson III and assistants Kevin Broadus and Tavaras Hardy both joining him. That's three quarters of their recruiting brain trust on hand.
Apparently, they liked what the saw in Tony Carr; the 6'3" Philadelphia guard received a scholarship offer. A Class of 2016, Team Final (AAU) and Roman Catholic standout, Carr is a skilled generalist, a backcourt standout who can do some of everything. His EYBL Hampton statline confirms it, as Carr averaged 14.2 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.5 apg. Think of him as a stat stuffer.
