Nike Pro City (Kenner League) Playoff Schedule Set with Quarterfinal Games Thursday, Friday

WASHINGTON - Playoff games for the Nike Pro City (Kenner) League were announced tonight, with two quarterfinal games set for Thursday, Aug. 2 and two more on Friday, Aug. 3. All games will be played at McDonough Arena on the Georgetown campus.
The Nike Pro City (Kenner) League is among the top summer college basketball leagues in the country and is annually held at Georgetown, affording basketball fans a chance to see current, future and former competing head-to-head over the summer.
The first game on Thursday night starts at 7;30 p.m., featuring Higher Level, the No. 1 seed out of the Hyper Dunk division, facing Beyond Belief, the fourth seed in the Hyper Air division.
The second game pits Premier Athletics (No. 2, Hyper Dunk) against Team Takeover (No. 3, Hyper Air) at approximately 8:50 p.m.
On Friday night, games will also played at 7:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. The first game features Clyde's, the No. 1 seed in Hyper Air, against On Point, the fourth seed in Hyper Dunk.
The Tombs, the third seed in Hyper Dunk, will face DCX, the No. 2 seed in Hyper Air, in the nightcap. That game will feature several Georgetown players, as DCX is led by rising sophomores Jabril Trawick (Philadelphia, Pa./Abington Friends) and Greg Whittington (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills). The Tombs is led by rising sophomore Otto Porter (Sikeston, Mo./Scott County Central) and rising junior John Caprio (North Caldwell, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) along with three incoming Georgetown freshmen - Brandon Bolden (Sumter, S.C./QEA), Bradley Hayes (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood) and D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera (Mouth of Wilson, Va./Oak Hill Academy).
Semifinal games will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4 starting at 1 p.m. The winner of the Premier Athletics-Team Takeover game will play the winner of the Clyde's-On Point game at 1 p.m. The second game will feature the winners of the games between Higher Level vs. Beyond Belief and The Tombs-DCX.
The championship game will be played on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 3 p.m.
All parking for Nike Pro-City League games will be in the Southwest Garage off the Canal Road entrance to the University.
Note: Indiana's Victor Oladipo joins Mikael Hopkins on Team Takeover, while Markel Starks leads Clydes.
