Hoyas losing staff member to SEC

According to Rivals.com recruiting analyst Eric Bossi, assistant coach Robert Kirby has returned to the Southeast Conference, as he's been hired at Louisiana State University. Bossi revealed this via is @EBossHoops twitter account.
The report has not been confirmed as of yet, despite attempts to do so. If in fact Kirby has left, his role at LSU is also unknown.

As an assistant at Georgetown for almost the last two years - he was hired in June of 2010 after leaving Mississippi State - Kirby has been active the last two years in recruiting. During that time he officially brought current freshman standout Otto Porter to The Hilltop.
Check back with HoyaReport.com for more confirmation of this staff change. If true, it could have seismic consequences, including possibly impacting the recruitment of Devonta Pollard, who recently visited G'Town and will make a college decision shortly. Kirby has had a relationship with the Pollards since he was an assistant at MSU.
