Rooths Showed, Proved, Shared

August's Locked In Elite Invitational Showcase provided an opportunity for top DMV players to learn from one of the best shooting coaches in America - Chris Matthews - as well as have skills imparted by a top coaching staff, one put together for Brian Inge and staff. It was a win-win for all involved.

Another advantage was catching up with Khani Rooths. A longtime Hoya recruiting target, the 6'8", 190 pound, Class of 2024 Rooths is ranked 65th in his class by Rivals.com, while owning a four star designation.

After receiving showcase MVP honors, Rooths rapped about camp, Matthews, his Georgetown unofficial visit, opinion of G'Town including vis a vis last season's debacle, recruiting and development.
