Mitchell Twins tour today

Per a trusted high school source, Mikhi Mitchell and Makhel Mitchell, Class of 2019, Bishop McNamara twin forwards are to tour Georgetown today. The Hoyas offered them scholarships this summer.

Both played for DC Premier (16u) last travel team season, distinguishing themselves on the Under Armour Association circuit. The pair also traveled to Las Vegas as DC Blue Devils.

Mikhi, 6’9”, 240 pounds is more of a face up player, capable of attacking from midrange. He averaged 9.6 points and 7.1 rebounds each game in Under Armour Association work.

Makhel, 6’9”, 250 pounds himself, excels more in the paint. Starting UAA play while returning from physical setback – the 6’9”, 250 pound performer actually missed most of his freshman year with a knee injury - he turned it on as the circuit progressed. Averages of 1.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game understate Makhel's impact.
