The Hoya Nation has been on edge, anticipating when Georgetown's first Class of 2019 commit would orally pledge to the school. The ball has now started rolling, as head coach Pat Ewing and staff have landed Timothy Igohoefe, per soruces. This was originally reported on our Premium Court message board.

A 6'11", 240 pound pivot, Igohoefe has been described as a solidly skilled big man, one willing to bang, rebound, run the floor, hit shots from the elbow and defend the rim.

You will not find Igohoefe prowling the floors of American high schools this winter; he's an Africa NBA Academy guy. A native of Nigeria, Igohoefe competes in Senegal for that institution, action that has afforded him international experience.
