Where does Agau's recruitment stand?

May 19, 2017 - It was well established on our Premium Court message board Akoy Agau would leave Georgetown upon his graduation this spring. The school later confirmed his decision.

Where does his decision process stand?

Per a good source (and confirmed by media reports) "He’s taken four officials already: Washington St., Illinois, SMU and Old Dominion", with Southern Methodist being greatly enjoyed.

Last season Akoy, as a transfer junior in his first year of Hoya action - he left Louisville around two years prior, but missed an entire season in Blue and Grey due to a knee injury - averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game. Known as a high energy power forward, Akoy brought effort and presence to the Hoyas' attack.

Given his history of injuries, it is presumed Agau will be granted a medical exception, thereby giving him two more years of eligibility. Based on his graduation, Agau's immediate availability in the fall will occur, though a recent knee injury may delay his impact.
