Visit still a go

With news breaking yesterday that former Class of 2017 Georgetown commit Tremont Waters was provided a release from his letter of intent, thereby allowing any school interested and so capable of tendering him a scholarship. Waters can now accept any such offer.

Questions immediately sprung to mind: Would the 5'10" floor general, one ranked 36th nationally and affixed a four star designation by Rivals.com, continue to consider G'Town as an option going forward? Also was a visit by new head coach Patrick Ewing planned for today still happening?

The short answer to both queries is yes, as John Pierson, a New Haven, Connecticut newscaster reported via his @JPPierson Twitter presence Ewing is still scheduled to meet Waters and his family.
