October 3, 2018 - In late September, Rivals.com's Corey Evans reported via twitter Georgetown traveled to Scotland, PA with the goal of scouting Karim Coulibaly. A 6'8", 230 pound, Class of 2019 center holding a three-star designation and determined the 31st best center and 139th top player nationally, Coulibaly is a DMV mainstay, having first attended Pallotti (MD), after arriving in America over three years ago.

What kind of player is this Mali native?

Smart and tough, Coulibaly can give teams both center and power forward minutes, as he rebounds, scores in the paint, shoots from the elbow, defends and runs the floor.

Since playing here in high school and for the New World (Adidas) travel team organization, Coulibaly has worked hard to become an all around frontcourt player, while also excelling academically.

Presently Karim has received at least 15 scholarship offers, with schools like Providence, Pitt, St. John's, Rhody, Cincy, GW, BC and of course others populating that list.
