Shots: Dawg Talk in ABL

Saturday saw alumni from Georgetown and Maryland take the court for Alumni Basketball League action. A fledgling operation, the ABL, founded in large measure by Kareem Rush, pits former players for schools and those institutions against others.

The game took place at Maryland's Pavilion, and was very well attended. Dawg Talk, Georgetown's entry, blew MD's College Park Boys off the floor, 117-91, a score that was not indicative of the game; defensive pressure by Dawg Talk seemed to flummox the Maryland guys, from the beginning.
