The penultimate Nike DC Pro City Kenner League day was Friday, with two games held. Brief reports follow. Premium Court has a discussion thread.

The league's last regular slate is today, the schedule being below, as are expected Hoya team placements. In total, 42 games will have occurred.

A Wash 102 Hoop Magic 94

A Wash reached the elusive century mark, a rarity this summer. Driving them there was the three headed monster of Georgetown player Bradley Ezewiro and two professionals, Naji Marshall and Bryant Crawford.

Ezewiro dunked and shot his way to 33p, also pulling down a game best 11 caroms. Harris, who was with the NBA's New Orleans Pelicans last season, stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, four rebounds, six assists, five steals, while international pro Bryant Crawford logged 13 points, four rebounds.

Interesting note: At halftime, Hoop Magic , who owned first half, double figure leads, led just 40-39 at intermission. A 6-0, first minute in the second half run by A Wash changed that dynamic, as they would not trail again.

Former Presbyterian standout Ed Drew paced Hoop Magic via 25 points, eight rebounds - seven offensive. International pro Corey Manigault continues to recover from injuries sustained by horrific violence, accounting for 16 points, 10 rebounds, eight of the offensive variety. Twelve points each came from VMI's Miles Lewis and Devon Sims, the latter being a Virginia Union stalwart.

PAPA 58 Bulldogs 51

Bulldogs - Bowie State's team - saw their double figure lead get reduced to 25-20 by halftime. PAPA continued walking down the BSU guys, equalizing the score for the first time with around 15 and a half minutes in regulation after Bryant player Antwan Walker (10 points) scored.

Bulldogs didn't lay down and quit, evidenced by Warren Mouganda's back to back three balls, helping push the team back ahead, 40-35. Kyrie Freeman-Davis led them in scoring with 12 points.

PAPA then closed the game via a 23-11 run. Brown's Kino Lilly accounted for 11 points, while Andrew Yafor, a pro, logged 13 points.
