Is Smart still an option?

We reported earlier that Shaka Smart, a darling of Hoya Nation desires to replace recently released head coach John Thompson III, was in fact coveted by Georgetown. Following that, HoyaReport.com supplied it was more than simply a wish to get Smart on campus, as many moving parts were in play.

Well, more feedback has been garnered on the possibility he will not lead the Blue and Grey, to the point where it's safe to say Smart is not coming.

For that post (and a chance to engage in commentary, click here). In short, he's happy at Texas, has accepted the challenge in Austin and the Family Smart is comfortable there. It's unknown if fiscal concerns also came into play.
