As a ball control point guard with a flair for the end game, Class of 2024 point guard Tayshawn Bridges is on the upward trajectory following a monstrous summer.Georgetown is one of the many programs which is now recruiting Bridges.

A Milwaukee native who picks his spots effectively offensively and brings freakish above rim explosiveness, Bridges, a Mac Mac Irvin Fire product, has gathered offers from Arizona State, Maryland, Iowa, Florida State and a bevy of others. Bridges has been in consistent talks with the Hoyas following a loud summer on the EYBL circuit.

Stoked with quiet swagger and dazzling displays of athleticism which enable him to soar in for wild dunks and also come up with eye popping blocks, Bridges overcame a quiet start to make the EYBL circuit his personal playground; he was a revelation with his scoring and dishing.

Examples: Bridges erupted for a game best 28 points and doled out eight assists while hitting the game winning shot as Mac Irvin stamped a pulsating 74-73 victory over OBC Adidas Gold back in July. Though no coaches were allowed in attendance during the EYBL Session III in Louisville, Bridges scored 22 points and yanked in 10 boards as he propelled Mac Irvin to a 65-55 win over All Ohio Red.

Since revamping his coaching staff and vowing to invest an all out approach to helping Georgetown return to prominence following a dismal down year, Hoyas head coach Patrick Ewing has emphasized accumulating talented/skilled players. Given the Big East's powerful history of being dictated by stellar guard play and also given Bridges' wild breakout spring and summer, there is certainly intrigue enveloping the rising junior prospect. While he was recently offered by Auburn, Bridges has also been hearing from Michigan State lately.
