Oregon, standing 4-1 and ranked 4th nationally, clearly a dangerous opponent could be even more so; at a recent press conference Duck head coach Dana Altman shared junior forward Dillon Brooks could see his first action of the year, albeit in a limited role. Brooks earned All-Pac 12 status last season, and could be the team’s best player.

Not that the Ducks can’t fly without him, as senior forward Chris Boucher is currently leading the V Formation in scoring, averaging 17.5 ppg, also slotting second on the team with 6.3 caroms each time out. Sophomore guard Tyler Dorsey follows in points at 12.7 ppg, while senior forward Jordan bell contributes 12.3 ppg and a team high 8.7 caroms per contest.

The Hoyas are paced by two players scoring 17.7 ppg – junior guard L.J. Peak and graduate forward Rodney Pryor – respectively. Junior forward Isaac Copeland leads all Blue and Grey rebounders with 6.7 per game. Jessie Govan, a sophomore center, has made his presence known, pouring in 14.3 points and 5.7 rebounders each game, both good for second on the squad.

Percentages: G'Town shoots 46.9% overall and 34.6% from beyond the arc. Oregon has managed 42.3% from the field and 28.4% on three pointers.

Today stands as the second time in three years these teams have played, the last being Oregon’s 82-75, 2013 victory in South Korea. The Ducks have a 2-1 overall advantage.
