Georgetown will visit historic Allen Fieldhouse on December 21, 2013, and also in the 2015-16 season. Kansas will make trips to Verizon Center to face the Hoyas during the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.
The Hoyas and the Jayhawks are annually among the winningest programs in college basketball. Georgetown ranks 31st among the more than 340-plus NCAA Division I schools with 1,544 all-time wins, while Kansas ranks second with 2,070 wins.
Georgetown has played Kansas twice before, with the teams splitting a pair of games. The Hoyas beat the Jayhawks, 70-57, in the semifinal of the 1987 NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, Ky., with Reggie Williams scoring a game-high 34 points. The teams met last year in the EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii, a 67-63 Kansas win.
