Hoya Madness attendee list

Next Friday is the date of this year's Hoya Madness, Georgetown's midnight madness celebration. Though practice officially started Monday, Hoya Madness is more or less a public launching of the season.

In addition to student groups performing and the men's/women's teams showing their basketball skills, G'Town has booked rap star and DMV guy Wale to perform. McDonough Arena is sure to rock.

What about high school players expected to witness the celebration live? Hoya Madness has annually served as a prime, Blue and Grey recruiting tool.

The first confirmation for Hoya Madness '16, which per a high school source occurred last week? Antwan Walker.

Contrary to internet rumor (and refuted weeks ago on our Premium Court message board), Walker, currently a 6'7", 220 pound prep school forward at Hargrave Military Academy (VA) is certainly being recruited by G'Town. The Hoyas first pursued and offered Antwan last season, when the forward starred at HD Woodson (DC) last year, serving as a key in the Warriors' historic 33-0 season.
