Yesterday Class of 2017 forward Antwan Walker made his Georgetown commitment official, signing a National Letter of Intent to the school. The 6’7”, 220 pound forward who last year stared at HD Woodson (DC) last year inked his NLI at Hargrave Military Academy, Walker’s current school.

Okay, he’s officially a Hoya now. But how has he been playing for Hargrave, a top level prep school program?

Athletic, long and mobile, Walker finishes, cleans the glass and is good from mid-range. Add weak side shot blocking to what Antwan brings.

Lately, Walker has been dominant.

On November 7th, his AAU team, Team Loaded VA, reported a weekend output of “52 points 23 rebounds with two wins”. That’s prodigious performance.

it wasn't simply a two day breakout, as yesterday HD Woodson’s twitter presence shared “Georgetown commit Antwan Walker continues his tear! 25 points and 14 rebounds in last nights win over PHCC!”.

It seems as if Georgetown, led by head coach John Thompson III and primary recruiter Kevin Broadus, have lured a sleeper to The Hilltop. One that is on his grind!
