Garza gets offer
June 23, 2016 - Per his Twitter account, Class of 2017 C/F Luka Garza received a Georgetown scholarship offer today. It was tendered today, coinciding with his most recent Hilltop visit.
G’Town now joins fellow high major schools Indiana, Penn State, Louisville, Pitt, UCF, Northwestern, DePaul, Alabama and Iowa as having invited Garza to attend school for free. Iowa was the first such institution.
As expected, the 6’10”, 230 pound frontcourt performer has a slew of mid-major offers as well – those schools were the first to covet his shooting, post up, rebounding and work ethic. Institutions like La Salle, Columbia, JMU, George Washington, JMU and others populate this group.
