The Gamecocks, coached by Lamont Parris in his fist year there, sees freshman all-everything big man GG Jackson score 16.3 points per game. This wunderkind is followed by Chico Carter's 13.7 ppg, with Hayden Brown's 10.4 ppg completing Parris' double digit scoring group. Carter and Brown are a senior and graduate student, respectfully.
Jackson also paces USC in rebounding, pulling down 7.4 each time out. His Hoya counterpart in that regard is junior forward Akok Akok (7.8 ppg).
Wahab is also a key scorer for head coach Pat Ewing's bunch, averaging 11 points per game, the Hoyas' lowest double figure scoring mark.
Besting him in that department are sophomore guard Primo Spears (16.4 ppg), Brandon Murray at 15.8 ppg, along with 12.8 ppg from senior guard Jay Heath.
