DC Pro City Kenner League Play of the Day - 7.19

July 20, 2014 - It was another action packed day at the Nike DC Pro City Kenner League yesterday; college and pro performers went at it tooth and nail. As it would have it, Georgetown senior guard Jabril Trawick, continuing his exciting play this summer, sent the crowd into a frenzy with a posterizing dunk.
During the first half of his Team Takeover's loss to On Point, Trawick came down in a scatter court situation, looking to finish. Nothing fancy there, as that's what he does. What transpired was a memorable sequence in which he rose up a step inside the free throw line and punished the rim over a defender. McDonough Arena's crowd went bananas.

A Play of the Day was cemented. It was also captured by HoyaReport.com. For a larger version of the shot, click here.
Today, Trawick and his Team Takeover guys are scheduled to take the court at 1p. The schedule follows:
1:00pm DCX VS TEAM TAKEOVER
2:15pm SYMONDS ALL STARS VS CLYDE'S
3:30pm ON POINT VS THE TOMBS
4:45pm OOHHS & AAHHS VS HIGHER LEVEL
6:00pm LINCOLN PARK VS PREMIER ATHLETICS
As reported on our Premium Court message board yesterday, real time, Hoya freshmen Tre Campbell, L.J. Peak and Paul White are not expected to compete, as that trio has academic obligations to meet.
Also, a source indicated none other than the DMV's Mike Beasley is expected to play, while another insider believes he could be joined by former Tennessee standout Wayne Chism.
