Charm City trip: Evans

October 12, 2018 - As reported first on Premium Court, then relayed via Twitter's @HoyaNation, Class of 2018 wing Che Evans was visited by head Hoya Pat Ewing and assistant coach Lou Orr. NCAA rules allow college coaches to visit player workouts at their high schools at this time, which occurred here; Ewing and Orr traveled to Evans' Dulaney High School in suburban Baltimore.

More is here, including what adults close to Evans thought about the visit, timing and more are also on Premium Court.

Standing 6'6" and weighing over 200 pounds, Evans has been tabbed a four star athlete, one ranked 65th in the Class of 2020, 16th among small forwards.

He's a smooth scorer who can drop the ball in the cup at all three levels. He's been focusing on being a better rebounder, defender and making plays for others.

Georgetown offered Evans months ago. At least 13 other schools have done so, including St. John's, Florida, Boston College, Georgia Tech and Penn State.
