Another performer picks Hoyadom

September 15, 2014 - Just this morning, Head Coach John Thompson III and his Georgetown Hoya program received another 2014 verbal commitment - Chicago forward Paul White has told its coaches he will accept their scholarship. G'Town beat out hometown DePaul, UConn and Miami.
A 6'8", 215 pound high school senior, White reportedly made the decision this morning, and has notified the other programs pursuing him. He attends Chitown's Whitney Young, and is slotted a four star performer by Rivals.com, who also rates him the 54th best prospect in the Class of 2014.

We will have more on White's decision, very soon. He joins Tre Campbell, LJ Peak and Isaac Copeland in White's Hoya class. They are a point guard, swingman, and two forward's respectively.
A shout out goes to Rivals Recruiting Analyst Eric Bossi, who dropped a great assist via our Premium Court message board. Go there to read what Bossi shared!
White's primary recruiter was new assistant coach Tavaras Hardy, formerly of Northwestern, where per Windy City sources he developed an excellent relationship with not only Paul, but also the Chicago basketball community.
