Hoyas fill vacancy

Just today, HoyaReport.com's message board discussion regarding the search for another Georgetown assistant coach was presented. Well, per a recent media tweet, head coach John Thompson III has hired Tavaras Hardy to fill that vacancy. Hardy was previously of Northwestern.

A former Wildcat player as well, Hardy was a two time Big Ten all conference player at Northwestern. As a coach, he has been dubbed both good recruiter and bench guy. Coming from Northwestern, he should be be versed in the Princeton Offense, of which the Hoyas base much of their man-offense on.

The other opening, that of Director of Basketball Operations is seemingly still open, as former DOP Scot Greenman departed with past Hoya assistant Mike Brennan, when the latter recently took the American University job.

Discuss the hiring on Premium Court The Hoya Nation also welcomes Hardy.
