Self ready to narrow rotation?
No. 24 ranked Kansas (2-0; 0-0) will face its most difficult task of the early season next week. On Monday evening, the Jayhawks will square off against Washington from inside the Sprint Center. The following evening, Bill Self's squad will face the winner of Monday night's first game between Florida and Syracuse. On Friday afternoon, Self met with the media in Lawrence and touched on quite a few topics; including what KU's rotation might look like in Kansas City. Jayhawk Slant was on hand and has the latest.
In KU's first regular season game of the year against UMKC, a total of 10 players saw time on the court. Two nights later against Florida Gulf Coast, that number ballooned to 15 players. With two difficult (most likely) games against Washington and Florida or Syracuse on the horizon, does Self have a plan in place to narrow his rotation?
