After giving a verbal commitment to Michigan State on September 1, 2003, Eric Devendorf recently decided to re-open his recruitment. At the time, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard from Central High School in Bay City, Mich., felt that he rushed his decision. After taking several unofficial visits, the No. 17 ranked player in the class of 2005 has given a commitment to Syracuse.
