McCormick has to step back

HoyaReport.com August 27, 2012 - Coming into the season, Georgetown freshman guard Katie McCormick was expected to step into a backcourt void faced by new head coach Keith Brown and his staff; last year's starting point guard Rubylee Wright graduated, while likely successor Taylor Brown, a sophomore, unexpectantly transferred.
That left All-American caliber player Sugar Rodgers and reserves Jasmine Jackson and Samisha Powell as the teams' only returning backcourt performers. For the record Jackson, a sophomore and Powell, a junior, have each averaged less than six minutes a game as Lady Hoyas.
McCormick is going to have to wait awhile now...
